ComplexCon

In 2016, Complex launched its first ever ComplexCon — a two-day festival featured concert performances, shopping, art exhibits, food and discussion panels (dubbed “Complex Conversations”).

In coordination with the Sales and Editorial team, I led strategic planning for our ComplexCon ad packages. As the expert, I supported presenting packages to trusted brand partners, helping sell in booth space and activation support. Leading up to the event, I liaised with brands, creative and media agencies to build out the activation plan and ROS. Day of, I oversaw every aspect of the brand partner booths, trouble-shooting in real time, and ensuring success for each client’s objective.

The event saw 50,000+ consumers in attendance and was accountable for over 8% of Complex’s revenue that year.

Over the last 3 years ComplexCon has continued to grow into more than a trade show for streetwear brands — creating experiential activations, live episodes of Complex shows and custom shopping experiences.
